Information on the processing of your personal data

The collection of your personal data required by this application form, the taking of your photograph and the taking of your fingerprints are mandatory for the examination of your visa application. Failure to provide such data will result in the application being inadmissible.

The legal basis for the collection and processing of your personal data is set out in Regulation (EC) No 767/2008 (VIS Regulation), Regulation (EC) No 810/2009 (Visa Code) and Council Decision 2008/633/JHA.

The data will be shared with the relevant authorities of the Member States [list all relevant States] and processed by those authorities for the purposes of a decision on your visa application.

The data and data concerning the decision taken on your application or a decision whether to annul, revoke or extend a visa issued will be entered into, and stored in the Visa Information System (VIS) for a maximum period of five years, during which it will be accessible to the visa authorities and the authorities competent for carrying out checks on visas at external borders and within the Member States, immigration and asylum authorities in the Member States for the purposes of verifying whether the conditions for the legal entry into, stay and residence on the territory of the Member States are fulfilled, of identifying persons who do not or who no longer fulfil these conditions, of examining an asylum application and of determining responsibility for such examination. Under certain conditions, the data will be also available to designated authorities of the Member States and to Europol for the purpose of the prevention, detection and investigation of terrorist offences and of other serious criminal offences.

Your personal data might also be transferred to third countries or international organisations for the purpose of proving the identity of third-country nationals, including for the purpose of return. Such transfer may only take place under certain conditions² . You can contact the authority responsible for processing the data (see contact details above) to obtain further information on these conditions and how they are met in your specific case.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation³ and the VIS Regulation⁴ , you are entitled to obtain access to your personal data, including a copy of it, as well as the identity of the Member State that transmitted it to the VIS. You also have the right that your personal data, which is inaccurate or incomplete be corrected or completed, that the processing of your personal data be restricted under certain conditions, and that your personal data processed unlawfully be erased.

You may address your request for access, rectification, restriction or erasure directly to the authority responsible for processing the data (see contact details above). Further details on how you may exercise these rights, including the related remedies according to the national law of the State concerned, are available on its website and can be provided upon request.

You are also entitled to lodge at any time a complaint with the national data protection authority of Greece, or of any other Member State, if you consider that your data have been unlawfully processed. INFORMATION TEXT FOR CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR JOB
In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”), the candidate's name/surname, address, place and date of birth, telephone number, educational status, educational information, work experiences, foreign language knowledge, participation in the CV of job applicants are required. All kinds of information and documents, such as seminars, conferences and certificate programs, references and all data introducing the relevant person, and, if any, exam results conducted during the job interview process and evaluation notes of the relevant unit regarding the candidate, are within the scope of personal data.

Your personal data mentioned above; It may be processed by Kosmos Visa Services Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as “Kosmos”) as the “Data Controller” within the scope explained below.

1. Purpose for which Personal Data will be Processed:
Your personal data, evaluation of your job application request and suitability for the relevant position, execution and finalization of the recruitment processes within the framework of Kosmos's human resources policies, evaluation of your application for similar positions that will arise later in case the result is negative, and contacting you in this context, and Kosmos's recruitment procedures. It will be processed for purposes such as development and providing the necessary human resources to carry out Kosmos's commercial activities and operational processes.

2. To whom and for what purpose the processed personal data can be transferred:
Your personal data processed by Kosmos may be transferred to our business partners, the main employer and subcontractors, our group companies/shareholders, and when necessary, for the purposes explained in Article 1 of this Employee Candidate Information Text and for reasons that require transfer within the scope of the regulations related to the Law and limited to these reasons. If necessary, it may be transferred to official institutions and organizations, as well as to the databases of the information systems used by our Company.

3. Method and Legal Reason for Collecting Personal Data:
Within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, your personal data may be processed within the framework of Kosmos's human resources policies, such as carrying out and finalizing recruitment processes and communicating with you within this scope, and carrying out Kosmos's commercial activities and operational processes. It is collected via e-mail, through Kosmos's website, human resources sites, in physical environment and through forms, based on the legitimate interest of Kosmos and the legal basis of obtaining explicit consent, for the purposes and provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed.

4. Data Owner's Rights Listed in Article 11 of the Law:
In accordance with Article 11 of the Law; The data owner can apply to Kosmos using the methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board;
- Learning whether personal data is processed or not,
- Requesting information if personal data has been processed,
- If personal data is being processed, learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used for their intended purpose,
- If personal data is transferred to third parties at home or abroad, knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
- Requesting correction of personal data if they have been processed incompletely or incorrectly, and requesting that the action taken in this context be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
- Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data in case the reasons requiring processing no longer exist, even though it has been processed in accordance with the law and other relevant legal provisions, and requesting that the action taken in this context be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
- Object to the emergence of a result against the individual by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automatic systems,
- In case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, they have the right to demand compensation for the damage.
