Information about touristic visas during the pandemic crisis.

Due to the restrictions on touristic travels during the pandemic, temporarily restriction will apply on  tourist visa applications. Applications for serious professional matters, truck drivers' applications and for medical visits will continue to be accepted.

Measures taken during the pandemic crisis.

As a precautionary measure during the pandemic process, HES code will be requested from all our customers who come to our office as of Monday, 30.11.2020.​

Our customers are obliged to visit our office with a mask.

Conditions for entry through the Greece Kipi Gate during the COVID-19 pandemic process

Permission to enter Greece through the Kipi border crossing is only allowed for the following categories:

a.Greek citizens, Greek residence permit holders and persons whose residence is in Greece

b.Load-bearing truck drivers

c.Third-country nationals for urgent professional travel with the relevant permission of the competent Consular Authority to which they belong, depending on their residence

A. From 17 August 2020, entry into the Greek Territory for the above categories will be allowed on condition that you submit a negative COVID-19 test within the last 72 hours prior to their arrival in Greece.

Those entering Greece should have been diagnosed negatively in the Covid-19 PCR test obtained by the sample taken from the orufaryngeal or nasopharyngeal in the private laboratories of the country of origin, public or approved by the country.

The test presented must be in English and include the name and passport number or ID number of the person entering Greece.

B. TIR drivers are not obliged to submit a negative PCR test result at customs gates.

C. Children under 10 years old are not obliged to submit a negative PCR test result at customs gates.

D. Those who will enter Greece must fill in the PLF form 24 hours before their travel.

This form is filled out via the travel.gov.gr platform. In addition, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs http://www.mfa.gr/index.html(ProtocolforArrivalsinGreece).

Confirmation of completion of the PLF form, which is automatically sent to the passenger by e-mail from the system, is deemed necessary for entry into the country.

E. If the above conditions are applied, within the scope of the measures taken to fight against Covid 19, it will be possible to cross the Kipi border gate (and also from Kakavia, Krystallopigi, Evzoni, Nymfaia and Ormeni border gates) between 07:00 and 23:00 daily.

F. Persons entering Greece for business travel with urgency and then leaving Greece cannot re-enter Greece until 31 August 2020.

G. Greek citizens, Greek residence permit holders and persons whose residence is in Greece, who have left the Greek region from 10 August 2020 and want to re-enter until 31 August 2020, before leaving the country, https://travel.gov.gr. They must fill in a form stating their travel on the website.

• Ensuring that citizens are informed about new health measures and acceptance protocols in a timely manner.
• Informing Schengen visa holders (information leaflet will be given on passport delivery) that restrictions that may apply within the EU borders cannot be excluded regardless of nationality. (For example, quarantine when the test is positive).
• COVID-19 Pandemic with information about national and regional information centers, which can be used before travel, on the official website of EU "EU re-open" (https://reopen.europa.eu/en) on 15.06.2020 It will share information that includes measures taken and implemented during the period of time, as well as which units with which a potential COVID-19 symptom will contact.

Important notice on COVID-19 related travel restrictions

As part of the measures to contain the spreading of COVID-19, individual Schengen States have ibtroduced travel restrictions, including at certain borders between those states.

Depending on the development of the epidemological situation both within and outside the EU, travel restrictions may be eased or reintroduced.

All travelers are responsible for verifying the travel restrictions in place before departure. Holders of a Schengen visas are not automatically entitled to enter the Schengen area but must respect the travel restrictions in place.

Announcement- Preventive measures announced by Greek Government against COVID-19.


In the context of preventive measures against the spread of the viral disease COVID-19, all passengers arriving at the Greek borders, irrespective of their nationality, will be quarantined at home for 14 days.


Greek Government suspends the acceptance of all visa applications for Education, Cultural or Sports and Congress applications until further notice.


All the congress and Seminars have been cancelled in Greece and also Greek Government has announced that seasonal hotels and resorts won't be operating at least until 30 April 2020.


For those hotels already open, will close down on 23 March 2020 until 30 April 2020.


Greece has also decided to suspend temporarily cruise ships and ships that conduct daily cruises to dock at Greek ports.


Greece has also decided to close its borders (by land, sea or air) with Albania and North Macedonia, stop flights to and from Spain and Italy and end passenger ship service to Italy.


Movement of goods by truck drivers to and from Italy, Albania and North Macedonia is not affected.


Furthermore, archaeological sites, as well as state-run museums will be closed. The decision to keep these venues closed will be revised on March 30th, 2020.

The names and surnames of the persons coming to the premises of our Institution as guests, or the personal data holders are informed in this context by means of the texts posted on Company boards or on the website. The data obtained for the purpose of guest entry-exit tracking are processed only for this purpose, and the related personal data are recorded to the data recording system in physical environment.


In order to ensure the security of the building through the security camera in our service building, image recording is made and the registration process is supervised by the Head Office.


Within this framework, only a limited number of Company employees have access to the obtained records.  The Company's employees whom have access to the said records are allowed to share the records to the authorised public institutions and/or organizations or legally authorised persons when/if an official request received.  A limited number of people, whom have the access to the records, declare that they protect the confidentiality of the data they the access through the confidentiality commitment document.


Said personal data is  processed automatically under the  based on legal reasons located in the Law Article 5 which is:  for data responsible to fulfil the legal obligations " and   " that the data is compulsory to be processed for the data responsible can be taken under the condition of without detriment to the to the persons’ fundamental rights and freedoms’

Such personal data may be transferred to the judicial authorities or the relevant law enforcement authorities upon request, in accordance with the relevant legislation, or to settle legal disputes.
