Permission to enter Greece through the Kipi border crossing is only allowed for the following categories:
a.Greek citizens, Greek residence permit holders and persons whose residence is in Greece
b.Load-bearing truck drivers
c.Third-country nationals for urgent professional travel with the relevant permission of the competent Consular Authority to which they belong, depending on their residence
A. From 17 August 2020, entry into the Greek Territory for the above categories will be allowed on condition that you submit a negative COVID-19 test within the last 72 hours prior to their arrival in Greece.
Those entering Greece should have been diagnosed negatively in the Covid-19 PCR test obtained by the sample taken from the orufaryngeal or nasopharyngeal in the private laboratories of the country of origin, public or approved by the country.
The test presented must be in English and include the name and passport number or ID number of the person entering Greece.
B. TIR drivers are not obliged to submit a negative PCR test result at customs gates.
C. Children under 10 years old are not obliged to submit a negative PCR test result at customs gates.
D. Those who will enter Greece must fill in the PLF form 24 hours before their travel.
This form is filled out via the travel.gov.gr platform. In addition, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs http://www.mfa.gr/index.html(ProtocolforArrivalsinGreece).
Confirmation of completion of the PLF form, which is automatically sent to the passenger by e-mail from the system, is deemed necessary for entry into the country.
E. If the above conditions are applied, within the scope of the measures taken to fight against Covid 19, it will be possible to cross the Kipi border gate (and also from Kakavia, Krystallopigi, Evzoni, Nymfaia and Ormeni border gates) between 07:00 and 23:00 daily.
F. Persons entering Greece for business travel with urgency and then leaving Greece cannot re-enter Greece until 31 August 2020.
G. Greek citizens, Greek residence permit holders and persons whose residence is in Greece, who have left the Greek region from 10 August 2020 and want to re-enter until 31 August 2020, before leaving the country, https://travel.gov.gr. They must fill in a form stating their travel on the website.
